Ben's Allergy & Restaurant Reviews

Ben Alexander Eats of the Week 1/22-1/28

February 20, 2024 by Ben

Monday 1/22:

Lunch: Chicken Strips

Rationale: It was a quick lunch for me! Plus Kirkwood Chicken Strips from Aldi are really good.

Dinner: Chipotle: Chicken, white rice, & beans (black & pinto) & TastyKake Boston Crème Honey Bun

Rationale: This was the first time I ate the Chipotle chicken. I pretty much always get the Steak. I had $10 on a gift card and I could only afford the chicken. I’ll be honest, the chicken was pretty good. It does remind me of blackened chicken a lot. The Honey Bun was good as well.

Snack: Owyn Vanilla Protein Shake

Rationale: it was awesome to see there is protein shake without nuts in it. It is dairy-free and this was my first ever protein shake I ever drank. It was pretty good and I highly recommend you try it.

Tuesday 1/23:

Lunch: Chicken Strips

Rationale: A quick lunch and I’m going to work!

Dinner: Tai Pei Chicken Fried Rice and two TastyKake Honey Buns

Rationale: I thought this was a really good dinner for a cheap price. It was around $5-6.

Snack: Owyn Chocolate Protein Shake

Rationale: I really enjoyed the Owyn Chocolate Protein Shake. It was really good!

Wednesday 1/24:

Lunch: Sausage, Peaches, & gummy bears

Rationale: My Mom made homemade Sausage with my dairy-free cheese and pizza sauce. Add peaches and gummy bears you have yourself a meal

Dinner: 3 banquet chicken nugget & French fry meals and two TastyKake Honey Buns

Rationale: I was really hungry and I enjoyed the nuggets and fries. Plus add TastyKake Honey Buns, you just can’t lose.

Thursday 1/25:

Lunch: Popcorn Chicken

Rationale: Kirkwood (Aldi Brand) popcorn chicken is a go-to for me since it is dairy-free and is quick and convenient as well.

Dinner: Tai Pei Orange Chicken, TastyKake Honey Bun, & TastyKake Chocolate Cupcakes

Rationale: the Tai Pei orange chicken is always good, plus it has rice & veggies in it as well. I love TastyKake’s honey buns and their Chocolate Cupcakes are really good as well. I really can’t complain about dinner.

Snack: Starburst

Rationale: my work had candy and I was able to eat some starbursts. They’re dairy-free and they’re easily a top 10 candy for me.

Friday 1/26:

Lunch: Beef and Bean Burrito, Cape Cod Potato Chips, Peaches, & Gummy Bears

Rationale: It was my off day from work so I was able to prepare a nice lunch for me.

Dinner: Chicken and Salsa Nachos

Rationale: My Mom made Chicken & Salsa. Which simply you just put Chicken and Salsa into a Crockpot and there you go. Easy dinner and it is really good as well.

Saturday 1/27:

Lunch: Leftover Chicken & Salsa Nachos

Rationale: I ate these and went to Mad River Mountain with my church’s young adult group tubing. It was a good meal and can’t complain

Dinner: Six Hundred Downtown Pizza

Rationale: This is a pizza restaurant In Bellefontaine, Ohio and it is really good. They did an excellent job in making sure my food is dairy-free. I’m working on an Allergy & Restaurant Review for Six Hundred Downtown, please follow all my content so you can see the allergy & restaurant review.

Sunday 1/28:

Breakfast: Strawberry Milkshake Poptarts & hard candy

Rationale: This was the last pack of the Strawberry Milkshake Pop Tarts since the box is now empty. It is a quick and surprisingly dairy-free breakfast. My church friend gave me this candy. It was interesting but it reminds me of a jolly rancher or a lollipop because it is really hard candy.

Lunch: Tres Potrillos: Pork Carnitas French Fries w chips & salsa

Rationale: I had this at a local Mexican restaurant in Marysville, Ohio. My food was served by a robot. Then there was a person who grabbed our food in the robot and gave us our food. I’ll have to do an allergy & restaurant review on this restaurant someday. Make sure your subscribed to all my platforms and you should know when the allergy & restaurant review is posted.

Dinner: Leftover Six Hundred Downtown Pizza!

Rationale: I really do love this pizza. My Mom put it in the oven & I was able to enjoy it. Plus I was able to eat my dairy-free cheese as well!
