Ben's Allergy & Restaurant Reviews

Ben Alexander Eats of the Week 1/29-2/4

February 21, 2024 by Ben

Monday 1/29:

Lunch: Popcorn Chicken

Rationale: It was a quick lunch and I was able to enjoy some dairy-free popcorn chicken before I headed off to work.

Dinner: Tai Pei Beef & Brocolli & Mike & Ikes

Rationale: I like the Tai Pei meals that you can get at Walmart & I haven’t had any Mike & Ike’s for a while so I decided to eat some & they’re really good!

Tuesday 1/30:

Lunch: Beef & Bean Burritos

Rationale: It was perfect for a quick dairy-free lunch! The burritos weren’t packaged with any cheese or dairy products.

Dinner: Wolf brand Chili, TastyKake Chocolate Cupcakes, & Haribo Funtastic Mix

Rationale: I was feeling sick so I decided to get some Chili & it didn’t really help my sickness because I worked until the end of my shift & I came home and took my temp and I was running a fever!

Wednesday 1/31:

Lunch: Culver’s Chicken Tenders & Fries, peaches, & gummy bears

Rationale: It was an awesome meal whenever I was sick and I needed a pick me up meal. My Dad went out and got Culver’s for me.

Dinner: China Wok: Sweet & Sour Chicken, Beef & Brocolli, fried rice, & gummy bears

Rationale: It gave me vegetables plus China wok is always hot and fresh so it can get rid of the fever. Getting Albonese Gummy Bears is an added bonus as well!

Thursday 2/1:

Lunch: Wendy’s: Chicken Nuggets, Fries, Peaches, & a pack of Sugar Cookie Poptarts

Rationale: It’s Wendy’s, It’s been forever since I ate Wendy’s. My brother offered to go get something for me & I decided Wendy’s was the best thing for me in the moment. Add Sugar Cookie Poptarts & Peaches to the mix & your good!

Dinner: Buffalo Wild Wings: Boneless Wings, Tater Tots, & Carrots

Rationale: I wasn’t feeling good at all, I didn’t even finish 12 wings, which would’ve been easy for me most nights. Oh well, at least I got leftovers!

Friday: 2/2

Lunch: Leftover Buffalo Wild Wings, Carrots, & a pack of Sugar Cookie Poptarts

Rationale: It was a leftover meal & I can’t complain at all!

Dinner: Homemade Pizza Bread

Rationale: My Mom went to Walmart and bought a couple loafs of bread, then put pizza sauce & toppings on it, then it went it to the oven to bake, then into our mouths! Personally I like Pizza Bread it’s easy and convenient!

Saturday 2/3:

Lunch: Leftover Beef & Brocolli from China Wok

Rationale: It was really good & there is no complaining from me at all!

Dinner: Jack Daniel’s Tennesee Honey Liquor Boneless Pork Ribs

Rationale: They were really good! I would highly recommend eating these delicious delicacies. I found them at my local Walmart & you might be able to find them at your local retailer.

Sunday 2/4:

Lunch: Red Shed BBQ: Brisket, Pork, Fries & Green Beans

Rationale: BBQ is really good & I will say Red Shed’s fries are really good! I personally enjoy their fries. Add BBQ to it & you have yourself a great meal!

Dinner: Chicken Toritilla Soup & Grandma’s Pumpkin Bread

Rationale: I’m still not feeling good at all & I needed something to warm me up & Chicken Tortilla Soup did the job. Grandma’s pumpkin bread was a nice surprise as well. I loaded that thing up with honey & it was well worth it!
