Ben's Allergy & Restaurant Reviews

Ben Alexander Eats of the Week 12/18-12/24

December 25, 2023 by Ben

Monday 12/18:

Lunch: Popcorn Chicken & Raisins

Rationale: If you couldn’t tell already I like my Chicken and I love quick and convenient as well.

Dinner: Egg Rolls, Crispy Crowns microwaveable potatoes, marshmallows, and Gummy Krabby Patty Kabob.

Rationale: I had the Great Value (Walmart brand) Egg Rolls for the first time and they were really good. The Crispy Crowns, gummy kabob and marshmallows make the meal even better.

Snack: Marshmallows

Rationale: the work is handing out free hot chocolate and luckily they have marshmallows on the side, so I took advantage and had some for snack.

Tuesday 12/19:

Lunch: Beef & Bean Burrito and Raisins.

Rationale: It was a quick lunch plus it was pretty tasty as well.

Dinner: Tai Pei Orange Chicken and Mini Oreos

Rationale: It was a quick dinner and it was tasty as well. There are a ton of people who think Oreos have dairy in them, but they actually don’t, if you look at the ingredients it has no dairy in it.

Snack: Fried Rice

Rationale: My parents had Chinese food as well and they said to eat their leftovers.

Wednesday 12/20:

Lunch: Chicken w/ Mixed Vegetables

Rationale: It was a carryover from last night’s leftovers and I got to heat up some nice beef and broccoli, it was very, very good!

Dinner: Banquet Chicken nugget and fries and Gummy Krabby Patty Kabob

Rationale: It was a very cheap affordable meal for me to eat. I can’t remember the price, but it was definitely under $5. Plus it is dairy-free too.

Thursday 12/21:

Lunch: Beef & Broccoli

Rationale: My parents made sure I had plenty of leftovers. It was good and nutritious at the same time.

Dinner: Heinz Gummy Kabob, Popcorn balls, Banquet Sweet & Sour Chicken, and microwavable french fries.

Rationale: There were lots of great food choices that were dairy-free, so I decided to eat what I could.

Friday 12/22:

Lunch: Beef & Bean Burrito w/ a JJ’s Bakery Pumpkin Pie

Rationale: The Pumpkin Pie was dairy-free on its ingredients, it is so cool to find dairy-free pumpkin pie, because that is one of the toughest foods to find that is dairy-free.

Snack: Huey Magoo’s French Fries

Rationale: I went to get my friend a gift card for Christmas (he really liked it) and I wanted to try the fries while I was going to Huey’s as well. The fries were well seasoned and delicious.

Dinner: Red Bagged Chicken (That’s what our family calls it), potato chips, green beans, and a pack of Strawberry Milkshake Pop Tarts.

Rationale: Believe it or not the Strawberry Milkshake Pop Tarts are dairy-free and they’re really good. I enjoy them and they’re really good. All the rest is dairy-free and it was good as well.

Saturday 12/23:

Lunch: Beef & Bean Burrito and Raisins.

Rationale: I was looking for a quick meal and I made sure to include a fruit this time.

Dinner: Healthy Choice Beef & Broccoli, Microwaveable Crispy Crowns (Potatoes), & Oreos

Rationale: My work surprised me with treats and I snacked on Oreos for quite a bit of the day. I had the healthy choice meal to balance out the Oreos and the Crispy Crowns (Potatoes).

Sunday 12/24

Breakfast: Strawberry Milkshake Pop Tarts

Rationale: I was going to skip breakfast when my Dad offered to toast up the Strawberry Milkshake Pop Tarts so I accepted his offer and ate breakfast.

Lunch: Roosters, Turkey Burger with a order of Tater Tots, Raisins, and a JJ Bakery’s Boston Creme Pie

Rationale: This was the first time I had the Turkey Burger and I really enjoyed it. Dairy-free and Delicious!

Dinner: Gom, Celery, Tortilla Chips, Brownies, Ginger Snap Cookies, & Christmas Gummies.

Rationale: It was Christmas Eve, my family normally eats Gom (which is a German Sloppy Joe) or Chinese, though we normally go with the Gom sandwich. It was really good tonight, plus the dairy-free desserts that my Grandma provided me, you just can’t beat that.
