I tried the Liberty Gathering Place in West Liberty, Ohio and I walked away impressed with the service and the food.

Rationale: I got a Bison (Buffalo) burger (bacon, lettuce, & no cheese) and Waffle Fries. My food was amazing. The Bison burger tasted exactly like a hamburger and their waffle fries reminded me of Chick-Fil-A & Applebee’s waffle fries.

Allergy Rating: 4 out of 5 Stars
Rationale: they have a website where you can see the menu and that’s a great thing of course. I also didn’t have an allergic reaction and my waitress was amazing. She made sure my bun didn’t have dairy in it and they didn’t use butter on my bun (which is amazing). The only thing missing is an allergen menu.

Iron City Sports Bar is a Sports Bar in Bellefontaine, Ohio. It’s also near downtown Bellefontaine. It’s similar to Buffalo Wild Wings and the atmosphere felt like that.

Food Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars
Rationale: I did enjoy my Iron City Burger. I could taste the grill marks. That’s a sign of a great burger! I also got a huge helping of really good tater tots too.

Allergy Rating: 4 out of 5 Stars
Rationale: I didn’t have an allergic reaction. I’m so thankful for that! I was going to get the Iron City Burger with a gluten-free bun but they were out.
If you’re gluten-free please know that their gluten-free buns are on a limited availability basis.
I asked about their regular buns but my waitress said that they used butter on their buns and that’s why I was down to no bun or gluten-free bun.
Overall, I thought Iron City Sports Bar did do a great job with food allergies, but they don’t have an allergen menu as that’s the only thing missing.

Have you been to Iron City Sports Bar before?

Vicario’s Pizza is located just outside of downtown Bellefontaine, Ohio. They had plenty of seating and they had a bar to sit at as well.

Food Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars
Rationale: Wow! Their pizza is amazing! I loved the sausage, pepperoni, & green peppers. They had a thin crust and I liked their thin crust. I did like their tater tots as well. No complaints about the food at all.

Rationale: They do have a website that showcases their menu. My waitress went and asked to see if the pizza crust was dairy-free and made sure my food was safe. The only thing missing is an allergen menu.

I tried the China Grill Buffet in Bellefontaine, Ohio. I skipped the buffet and got my food to go and ate it in my car due to the risk of cross contamination. Also there isn’t an allergen menu on their website. I just assumed that they didn’t label for allergens on the buffet line. (if you have food allergies, do you like to eat at buffets?)

Rationale: I really liked my food. The Sweet and Sour Chicken pieces were huge. I did enjoy my food a lot. Including the White Rice and the fortune cookie!

I tried La Palma Mexican Restaurant in Bellefontaine, Ohio tonight. I will warn you if you eat in, make sure you use the restroom before coming in. They’re renovating both of their restrooms. There’s a Walmart behind there and plenty of other establishments that have restrooms you could use.

Rationale: I loved eating their tacos and Mexican rice. I really enjoyed my meal. I did like the chips and salsa as well and have no complaints about the food.

New China Express is only three minutes away from the Columbus Zoo! It’s literally so close to the Zoo. Plus the food was amazing!

Rationale: they have a website in which you can see their menu. I saw they labeled their stuff that had nuts in it, which was amazing to see. I had no allergic reactions and I thought the person on the phone did do a great job.
Overall I can’t complain about this place and I would highly recommend you try New China Express!!

I was pretty impressed with 2G’s Barbecue in Downtown Bellefontaine, Ohio. My Waitress was amazing and there wasn’t much to complain about at all.

Rationale: I really loved their brisket sandwich and their fries reminded me of Tres Portillo’s Fries. My food was fresh and really hot plus it didn’t even take me 10 minutes to get my food.

Have you been to Kiyomi Sushi & Japanese Steakhouse before?

I tried Madras Bakery in Dublin, Ohio. I ate lunch at the Sonora Grill of Dublin, Ohio and Madras Bakery is right next door to Sonora Grill & I wanted some dessert so I came here.
Food Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars
Rationale: I really enjoyed my Macarons. I have never had a Macaron in my life but I was very happy these were dairy-free and they were really delicious as well.

Rationale: When I entered Madras Bakery I let the person running the counter know about my dairy allergy and if they had anything dairy-free.
I got to talk to the chef/baker and he told me if I wanted to have a dairy-free cake to just call ahead. If you have an allergy like Gluten or Peanuts, you can call ahead to have a cake made for you.
That’s a really nice gesture by the chef/baker & he took the time to check the ingredients to find something that was dairy-free. I think they’re very flexible when it comes to food allergies and I highly recommend you try Madras Bakery.

I Tried Sonora Grill of Dublin, Ohio for the first time.

I was very happy they had a lunch menu that was affordable. $11.99 for two fish tacos, Mexican rice, & Chips W/ Salsa. That’s a pretty good deal wouldn’t you say?
