I tried a place called Tubby’s Pizza. Tubby’s has three locations in Ohio and the price of the pizza was pretty affordable. My pizza was $12 for 4 toppings on a pizza! That’s really cheap and a great deal!

Rationale: The Person taking my order on the phone was very helpful. He checked with someone else to make sure the pizza dough was safe. Turns out I had no allergic reaction 😀 The only thing I would say is to add an allergen menu on their website. It would be very helpful.

IHOP has more than just breakfast. This was the first time I have ever eaten at an IHOP and I was really impressed with the service and how many dairy-free options IHOP offers.

Rationale: I was blown away with how hot their food was. It was made fresh and it was so delicious! The Fisherman’s Platter had Fried Shrimp, Fried Fish, & French Fries. I would definitely get it again 😀

Rationale: They use the Nutrition Nix Interactive menu to showcase what you can and can’t eat. Nutrition Nix makes it easy to tell what you can and can’t eat. There’s plenty of dairy-free options and you can find options for your allergies as well!
Overall, I would recommend you eat at IHOP.

I have seen TV ads for Little Caesars for a long time now. I have always wanted to give this pizza place a try and today was the day. It’s a nationwide pizza chain in the good old USA 🇺🇸 so you should be able to find a location. Of course check on the internet to see if there’s a location near you!

Rationale: I’m happy that they do have an allergen menu where they clearly tell you the allergies, & it’s a great thing. But, ordering on the app was really confusing. I never indicated that I wanted cheese, but it came default so my pizza had cheese in it!

Luckily I checked my pizza in the parking lot and showed him my receipt and he told me that cheese was a default option. So that’s very frustrating especially with a dairy allergy. I waited longer than expected since they had to make another pizza, but I’m fine with waiting because it meant being safe from an allergic reaction. As a first timer you need to know that the pizza comes default with cheese.

Today I tried PF Chang’s and there are multiple locations in the Central Ohio area. I went to the one near Tuttle Mall in Dublin, Ohio. If I were you I would look in your area to see if there is a location in your area. Because the food was great!

Rationale: I really enjoyed eating my Sweet and Sour Chicken. They did put the sauce before hand and I do wish they had sauce to the side so I could eat it without sauce (yes, I’m picky), but the sauce didn’t take away from the taste of the chicken. The chicken was fresh and I can tell that it was cooked really good. I did like the White Rice as that was a pretty good complement to the Sweet and Sour Chicken.

Rationale: They have an allergen menu on their website (just Google PF Chang’s Allergen menu). It’s well organized and I could tell what was dairy-free and what wasn’t. Plus I had no allergic reactions so that’s good 👍

Rationale: I love the seasoning on the steak fries! It was a really good fry! Plus they have burgers that don’t taste dry, with that being said I have no complaints about the food at all!

Rationale: Very easy to read allergen menu. If you Google Red Robin allergen menu you’ll find a website that takes you to their allergy information. I was able to easily determine what I can and can’t eat! Plus I got an allergen option when ordering to go, that notifies the kitchen staff that there’s an allergy in the order. It was wonderful service and had no allergic reactions.
I feel very safe eating at Red Robin and I highly recommend eating at Red Robin!

I was looking for something to eat for lunch and I decided to go and try El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant. There are lots of locations in the Central Ohio area. I will say the food was very affordable and I was very full afterwards, so it was worth it.

Rationale: My server took care of me today! She took my allergy seriously & I didn’t get an allergic reaction so that’s good. They don’t have an allergen menu & that’s the only thing I think they could do better. Since there are many locations in Central Ohio it would be helpful to have an allergen menu. I use allergen menus to help me decide what I can and can’t eat.

Rationale: I like McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets and they have a really good dairy-free apple pie.
9. Taco Bell
Rationale: I enjoy their nachos fries, nachos, tacos, & cinnamon twists. I do customize the nachos and tacos to be dairy-free, & I think they have really good food.
8. Burger King
Rationale: I do enjoy their breakfast. I love their dairy-free French Toast Sticks, hashbrowns, fries, chicken fries, & Whoppers.
7. Arby’s
Rationale: I love their premium chicken nuggets, fries (Curly & Crinkle), & apple & cherry turnovers. I also loved their potato cakes when they had them!!!
6. Wendy’s
Rationale: I enjoy their chicken nuggets, Dave’s Double, Single, & Triple. They have really good fries. I have had their breakfast a couple of times. Getting the breakfast baconator without egg & cheese is a game changer for me. They do have good hashbrown potatoes for breakfast as well! Wendy’s is a staple for me!
5. Del Taco
Rationale: I ate here once coming back from my Aunt’s Retirement party (she retired as a school teacher). They had good chicken tenders, fries, & I even got a taco. All my food was really good. I really don’t live near one, but I want to go back someday.
4. Chick-Fil-A
Rationale. I love their grilled chicken nuggets and their waffle fries. I haven’t had the new recipe yet, but I can’t imagine it would be bad. What’s your view on the new recipe?
3. Culver’s
Rationale: My family really enjoys this restaurant. I love their chicken tenders, fries, jumbo butterfly shrimp, & their beef pot roast sandwich. I have never had a bad meal there.
2. Sonic Drive-In
Rationale: I love their Jumbo Popcorn Chicken. I loved their onion rings, but they have dairy in them (please bring back the dairy-free versions!!), I do love their fries, & tater tots. I can navigate through it. The closest one is 30 minutes away from me so i don’t eat here very often, but when I do I’m very happy that I eat here.

Rationale: They have Dairy-Free Texas Toast!!!

Today I tried Sakura Asian Bistro in Marysville, Ohio. I have driven by this restaurant several times and I always wanted to eat it! Today I got the chance to eat here. Now here’s the food rating!
Food Rating: 3 out of 5 Stars
Rationale: the sweet and sour chicken was very crunchy and burnt. I was disappointed, but I hope that I came on a bad day. I’ll review it in the future to see if they make improvements. Though I really had no complaints about the fried rice. It did have egg in it and I mentioned that I had an egg allergy in the past, but I had no allergic reactions and I believe my egg allergy has pretty much disappeared!

Rationale: the allergy treatment was much better than the food tasted so that’s a good thing! I called and ordered my meal. This is one of three restaurants these owners own. China Wok, Asian Cafe, & Sakura Asian Bistro according to my parents. They are very busy and I give them credit for at least having a website, though an allergen menu would make the allergy rating a 5 out of 5 stars. I always pass Fiesta Grande when I drive by downtown Marysville, Ohio. I never ate there until today. I thought everything went pretty well.

Rationale: I enjoyed my chicken nachos and adding the Violife Foods Colby Jack cheese definitely helps make the nachos even more delicious! My meal was only $9.62 and I got a lot of food for a cheap price. I was pretty full after my meal!

Rationale: No allergic reaction to my food, that’s always a big blessing! They have a website with an online menu. They labeled stuff that was gluten-free and told you what was gluten-free (GF), but not dairy-free. It would be nice to have it labeled dairy-free (DF) like the gluten-free items are.
I called and communicated my allergy and we worked out everything and got a meal that was safe for me!
Overall, I would recommend eating here!

I have a friend who really loves this place and eats Marysville Sports Pub with his family all the time. It’s a sports bar/pub so I was pretty excited about trying this place and I had great results with no allergic reactions. Now let’s get into the food!
