Rationale: the sweet and sour chicken & sweet and sour shrimp are really good. I also enjoyed the rice I ate with it as well. The food was nice and fresh (like it’s in the name). The meal was less than $10 and I had plenty of food for the price. So it’s a great buy.

Rationale: the person taking my order was awesome she checked with the kitchen to make sure my food was dairy-free. The only thing is that they don’t have a website that I can view the menu. They do have a Facebook page, if you want to follow it. They have their menu on their Facebook page. I also grabbed a takeout menu as well. 

They also don’t have an allergen menu on their Facebook page. This helps it make it easier for people that have food allergies to know what they can eat. I have been here before but I haven’t had it in a long time and I had an allergic reaction in the past, so I have avoided eating here. I changed my mind and gave this place a second chance and I’m glad I did. They improved since the last time I have been here!

I called Leon’s and the lady went into the back to make sure my food was age from allergies. I’m happy when restaurants improve from their mistakes. It is better when we give others second chances because it’s the right thing to do.

I went to Crazy Burrito with my Dad & Brother. Crazy Burrito is a Mexican Restaurant in Marysville, Ohio. I haven’t been here in a very long time. This isn’t my first time but I haven’t been here in years because it is very expensive. 

We went Last Monday Night because my Dad suggested it and me and my brother were fine eating there. I am surely glad that I did.

Rationale: I really enjoyed my tacos and mexican rice tonight. It was hot and really good. They loaded my tacos with beef and lettuce. The plate was really hot and that is a sign that they took the time to cook it well and they did.

Overall, I highly recommend you try Crazy Burrito and I will say that it does accommodate food allergies so you don’t need to worry about having an allergic reaction.

My parents and I were getting furniture from Costco and they wanted to go Beer Barrel. I’ve never been before and I was willing to try this new restaurant. I had no idea what to expect, my parents have gone so many times that I was just honestly going along with the ride.

Rationale: I really enjoyed their wings. They were hot and juicy! The meat was so tender and was my favorite part of the meal. The fries were good too! They were steak fries and I thought they were good. They call them barrel fries and I would get them again as well.

Rationale: Our server was amazing! I asked what was dairy-free since I had never been before. She asked the manager and wrote down what the manager told her and relayed it back to me. I was really impressed. Every question we had she answered. I didn’t have an allergic reaction so that’s a plus. 

The only thing I would improve on is they don’t have an allergen menu to rely on. She had to go to the back and it took a little longer to get our food because of it. I’ll be honest, allergen menus are the saving grace to that. Having an allergen menu in the restaurant or on their website would help the restaurant and them.

Other than not having an allergen menu anywhere, I really enjoyed their food and I would recommend eating at Beer Barrel. Clearly communicate your allergens and you shall be fine.

Guelaguetza is a food truck that goes around places in the central Ohio area. Go to the Street Food Finder App and you will find this food truck along with many others. I went to Uptown Friday Night in Marysville, Ohio to find this food truck. It was worth it!!

Rationale: I really enjoyed my steak and lettuce tacos. It was a unique taco. Because it was a double tortilla shell, but it was crunchy. I really enjoyed the mango ice cream. That was nice because it was hot outside today.

Overall, I love food trucks and have really good food and I don’t remember having an allergic reaction. I have always been a fan of eating at food trucks. I recommend eating here if you get a chance.

I went Kayaking with my friends and one of my friends told me about this amazing place in Hilliard. It was only a 10-15 minute drive from where we kayaked and I was really impressed.

I’m from Marysville, OH and Hilliard, OH is about 20-30 minutes away and we were in the Old Hilliard section, though it felt like it was brand new. It was in a place that had several different options. It was kind of like a food court, and it had plenty of seating.

Rationale: I really enjoyed my burger. I got it with bacon and lettuce. What about the fries! They gave you large portions of fries. I really enjoyed them a lot. I definitely would love to come back here in the future. I recommend their food to you.

Rationale: I went up to the counter and asked what was dairy-free. Immediately, the person taking my order went to the kitchen and asked the cooks. That’s a sign of a great restaurant! I have always eaten at Skyline Chili since I was a kid. I have always enjoyed Skyline Chili because they have extremely quick service and really good food.  It is based out of Cincinnati, Ohio and we have lots of restaurants in Central Ohio. I have also eaten their Skyline Chili spaghetti frozen meals at my local Walmart. It is really good!

Rationale: From the hot dogs, chili, fries, spaghetti, and the oyster crackers everything from Skyline is really good. It helps that they give you skyline oysters as a free appetizer. I normally get hot dogs, chili in a bowl (because I have been told that the buns contain dairy).

Rationale: I feel like the allergen menu has a great idea. I like that they tell you what you can eat. I did have an allergic reaction to their oyster crackers. I know, right? They used to put dairy in their crackers. Luckily that is taken care of. So I’m giving this restaurant a good review and I highly recommend eating at Skyline Chili.

I haven’t had Benny’s Pizza in years. I just recently went with my friends from Church and I was generally impressed. The last time I had it, I had an allergic reaction to ribs and fries. I know, right! Ribs and Fries? This happened when I was a kid and don’t necessarily remember all the details.

Rationale: If it were last week I would’ve not given this restaurant high remarks, but things have luckily changed for me. Everyone was so friendly and answered all my questions. I’ll be honest, I had no idea on what to expect from LaRosa’s. It has been in the Dublin, Ohio area for years. I have wanted to go for years and it is 15 minutes away from my house, and I was in the area getting a haircut/beard trim, so I decided to go and try it.

Food Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Rationale: I got myself a pan pepperoni pizza. Guess, what there was Vegan (Dairy-free) Cheese as well. As a person with a dairy allergy this is awesome news. The smell of the food was so good and it tasted good as well. This is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. It felt like I actually ate pizza like a person who wasn’t allergic to dairy, which is why this meal was special.

Rationale: The guy taking my order was super cautious of my allergy. He knew what cross-contimation was. He made sure the utensils didn’t touch dairy. I’m 100 percent sure this restaurant would do the same for you. This Restaurant had Vegan Cheese. I legitimately felt like I was eating pizza at pizza place. It was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. 

Overall, this is a must try pizza restaurant if you have this in your area. There are plenty of options for people with allergies. If you don’t have allergies this is still a must-try pizza place. You’ll definitely get your money’s worth. 

What makes Uncle Beth’s such a Hidden Gem? It is because they have wonderful service and they have really good food. It’s always homemade and you certainly won’t be disappointed eating here. It is open Thursday-Saturday from 11:30AM -7:30PM (you need to plan accordingly). It is always packed and everyone there seems happy to eat there. The place is in North Lewisburg, Ohio (a very small town) and it is a 15-25 minute drive from my house to the BBQ Joint.

Rationale: Brisket, BBQ Pork, Pork Potato, Nachos, spiced apples, & green beans are very good. If I’m lucky I ask the owner if the cakes are dairy-free and if it is dairy-free I get a slice of cake. I have never eaten a bad meal here.

Rationale: They don’t have an allergen menu, but I would be more than happy to write one for this place. You can ask the owner and she is very knowledgable about all the dishes she makes. The menu with the cakes changes, plus they’re always adding to their menu so asking her and the staff would be very important. 

Overall, I believe this is a wonderful place to eat and if you’re ever in this area this has to be your first stop. When my family is around there it definitely is for them.
